Children and Youth at Woodside
Woodside’s ministry programs for kids in preschool through high school thrive under the direction of Associate Pastor Gloria Yi. Gloria, along with her dedicated team of adult leaders, leads our young people on a lifelong journey to discover and passionately follow after Jesus Christ.
Sunday School, for preschool through 5th grades, meets during Sunday morning worship services. Children follow the curriculum "Live B.I.G.: See, Hear, and Live your Belief in God!"
- 9 a.m. Rising Son, a children's worship service for Kindergarten to 5th grade, meets in the Sanctuary. Preschoolers meet separately. Each week Bible stories are presented through skits, lessons and a children's sermon.
- 10:30 a.m. children meet in classrooms by grade. Games, crafts, Bible memorization, songs and DVD clips compliment the curriculum.
This midweek youth program meets during the school year for children age 3 (by September 30) through junior high school. Kids learn Bible stories, sing songs, do crafts, play games and join together for a group dinner. Through small group activities the teachers help the children build relationships with one another and especially with Jesus Christ. Several times a year the children's choirs perform during morning worship services.
- Cherub Choir – preschool and kindergarten
- Praise Choir – 1-2 grade
- Hallelujah Chorus – 3-5 grade
- Junior High Band (vocal and instrumental) – for 6-8 grade
Tuition is $120 per child per year. For more information contact Pastor Gloria Yi.
Established in 1989, WCP offers programs that provide youngsters with a unique preschool experience in a loving and caring Christian environment. Our belief is that your child's first educational experience should lay the groundwork for his or her future emphasizing growth in Christian living and preparation for Kindergarten. Contact Preschool Director, Kathy Piscadlo, for more information.
