Woodside's 2009 Bahamas mission team still smiling after a week of hard work.
Bahamas Mission Trip | July 18-24, 2010
The Woodside Senior High Youth Group will travel to Freeport, Grand Bahama Island, from July 18-24. This summer marks the sixth trip there and once again we'll work with Raoul and Karen Armbrister of Karazim Ministries. We'll repair homes damaged and destroyed from recent hurricanes and continue to develop the deep relationships formed over the past years. Here's some of what we'll do:
- Light construction
- Replace doors and windows
- Roofing
- Drywall
- Paint houses
- Build and plant raised bed gardens
- Serve food
- Worship
- Fellowship
- Play with the children
- Evening devotionals
- Pray with locals
Each year we go to lend a hand and share Jesus' love and we come back having received far more than we gave.
