Woodside has sent teams of missionaries to the Dominican Republic in the past for short-term mission projects. We partner with the Foundation for Peace, an organization with staff, facilities and experience in the D.R. Our goal is to work hand in hand with the local church to create vibrant, sustainable communities that include:
Church - for spiritual health
Medical clinic - for physical health
School - for intellectual health
Clean water - for overall health
Woodside will be sending a mission team to the Dominican Republic May 4-11, 2024. The project will consist of continuing construction of additional classrooms at the elementary school and working on their Community Center and church. We will also do VBS and spend time playing with the local children. No construction experience is necessary! Just come and share yourself and your desire to serve God in an experience that will greatly impact your life.
