Important Update About Worship Services

Serve

Woodside has a heart for mission! Where is God calling you to serve?

Here are a few service opportunities:

Time Sensitive Opportunities:

  • The Bucks County Opportunity Council through their HELP Center is seeking volunteers to help deliver meals through the remainder of the year. Volunteers help #feedourcommunity by making deliveries of food to those who cannot do so on their own. Review the dates, times and locations of the opportunities HERE.
  • Habitat for Humanity: There are about 2 and a half more weeks to FINISH OUR CURRENT BRISTOL PROJECT & bring Elaine and her children home! Several openings available: 3 spaces Wed Dec 1st, 2 spaces Thurs Dec 2nd, 4 spaces Wed Dec 8th, 3 spaces Thurs Dec 9th, 4 spaces Fri Dec 10th Please email me back to secure your place. Every hand makes a difference! Paige Zalewski, Volunteer & Media Coordinator, 215-822-2812 x 313,

  • Code Blue/AHTN: Woodside will be hosting Code Blue this winter (2021-2022). There are several volunteer opportunities including overnight shifts and kitchen help. An online orientation/video is required as well as registration for all volunteers.
    • Take these steps to become a volunteer: Create an account on the Volunteer HUB: https://ahtn.volunteerhub.com/, watch the orientation video (the link for the training will be emailed to you after creating your account), answer all video questions, sign the agreement and waiver and submit electronically. Then complete the background check. Once you have completed all steps and your background check is returned, you will receive an email that you are approved to volunteer. You then can sign up for shifts. Any questions, email Hilary Walp at . Thank you for your help with this critical mission!
    • Food Donations
We are collecting non perishable breakfast and pantry items through the end of January 2022 to provide to the Code Blue guests. Click HERE for a full list.

Ongoing Opportunities:

  • Adopt a Family: Join the Sower’s Club at Woodside and for as little as $10 per month, you can financially help a family for 1 year. Email Cynthia Montes at  .
  • A Soldier’s Hands – Handwritten cards/letters needed: There are 50,000 Americans serving in bases in Germany. The goal is to send each of them a handwritten note and a star from a retired flag. Great service opportunity for families, scouts, schools, etc.! Drop off your letters/cards at Woodside. Questions? Email Trish Shallenberger at
  • Habitat Bucks - Restore Langhorne: Seeking volunteers for different store positions and many shifts available! Donation Dock: Be the first to see all the fun donations! Physical work... a free workout! Processing Center: Process new donations - Unpack donations, set up beautiful displays, organize the store! Sales Floor: Connect with others & help the customers, writing up slips & talking with them about their newest purchase! Build your own schedule! A great way to boost your daily step count!
